Microfiber Baseis a semi-finished leather product made by impregnating a layer of polyurethane resin on the surface of the base fabric. This material is usually prepared by a wet process, i.e. formed after a layer of PU (polyurethane) is applied to the surface of the base cloth without any lines. In addition, leather bass can also be prepared by other methods, such as mycelial fiber felt that is dried after cross-linking and impregnating polyurethane, and mycelium leather bass can be obtained.
Components Of A Microfiber Base

Base fabric: This is the base material of microfiber base, which can be textile or non-woven. The quality of the base fabric has a direct impact on the performance of the final product.

Polyurethane resin: This is a chemical substance that is usually dissolved in a DMF solution to make a slurry and then applied to a base fabric. The resin gradually solidifies to form a microcellular polyurethane grain layer, which is called the base layer.

Other additives: Including color paste, wood powder, light calcium, additives and organic solvent DMF. These additives are used to improve the physical and chemical properties of the base, bringing it closer to the properties of natural leather.
