The production process of microfiber automotive leather includes the following steps: First, the island structural fiber nonwovens are used as the substrate, and this nonwovens are combed and needle-punched into a dimensional structural network nonwoven. This nonwoven fabric is then impregnated with polyurethane resin and subjected to alkali reduction to form a microfiber/polyurethane composite. Next, the microfiber leather base cloth is obtained by opening the fiber (toluene reduction or alkali reduction), and then through the post-finishing processes such as sanding and dyeing, the wear-resistant and breathable microfiber automotive leather is finally prepared.
