Suede leather refers to the suede leather on the surface, which is generally produced from pigskin, cowhide and sheepskin. The suede leather that is ground on the grain (front) of the leather is called suede leather, the suede leather that uses leather meat noodles (reverse side) is called suede leather, and the suede leather made of two-layer leather is called two-layer suede leather. Because suede leather has no finishing layer, the air permeability is very good, but the waterproof, dustproof and maintenance properties are relatively reduced. The leather products made of suede leather are comfortable to wear and have good sanitary properties. However, suede leather is not easy to clean and maintain after dirty, and attention should be paid to discoloration and discoloration when cleaning.
Suede leather refers to leather with a fluffy surface. Suede leather was originally produced with suede (commonly known as suede), but now pig, cow and sheepskin can be used to produce suede leather. Those made from the front side of leather (the side of growing hair or scales) are called velvet; those made from the reverse side of leather (meat noodles) are called reverse velvet; and those made from two layers of ground leather are called two-layer suede.
Because suede leather has no chemical finishing layer, its air permeability is excellent and its softness is greatly improved. However, its water resistance, dust resistance and maintenance become worse, and the firmness of suede leather without grain becomes lower. The leather products made of suede leather are comfortable to wear and have good sanitary properties, but except for suede leather made by oil tanning, suede leather is easy to get dirty and not easy to clean and maintain.
Suede leather is mainly used in the production of leather shoes, leather clothing, leather bags and gloves.
