Advantages of silicone leather:
Excellent wear resistance: 4000 cycles of 1KG roller, no crack and wear on the leather surface;
Waterproof and antifouling properties: the silicone leather surface has low surface tension, and the antifouling grade is 10. It can be easily removed with water or alcohol. The stubborn stains in life, such as sewing oil, instant coffee, tomato sauce, blue ballpoint pen, ordinary soy sauce, chocolate milk, will not affect the performance of the silicone leather;
Excellent weather resistance: silicone leather has strong weather resistance, which is mainly manifested in hydrolysis resistance and light resistance;
Hydrolysis resistance: After more than ten weeks of testing (temperature 70 ± 2 ℃, humidity 95 ± 5%), the leather surface is free of stickiness, shiny, embrittlement and other degradation phenomena;
Good light resistance (uv) and color fastness: excellent performance in resistance to fading of sunlight exposure for ten years, still maintaining its stability and color unchanged;
Combustion safety: combustion does not produce toxic products, and the silicone material itself has a high oxygen index, which can reach a high flame retardant grade without adding flame retardant;
Superior processing performance: easy to fit, not easy to deform, small wrinkles, easy to form, fully meeting the processing requirements of leather application products;
Cold crack resistance test: silicone leather can be used for a long time at - 50 ° F;
Salt spray resistance test: after 1000h salt spray test, the surface of silicone leather has no obvious change.
Disadvantages of silicone synthetic leather:
1. The strength of leather top layer is slightly weaker than that of PU synthetic leather;
2. Raw materials are a little expensive.
